Frequently asked questions
Does it work without internet in the field?
Yes, sensors communicate via LoRa with the gateway, which can be km away. Gateway needs connection (WiFi, Ethernet or 4G) but sensors don't.
How difficult is it to install?
Very simple. Soil sensors stick into the ground, environmental ones mount on a pole or wall. They connect automatically to the gateway and appear in dashboard within minutes.
Can I automatically control irrigation?
Yes, the kit can include irrigation controllers that turn solenoid valves on/off based on soil moisture, time schedule or both.
What happens if a sensor fails?
Dashboard alerts you if a sensor stops transmitting. Sensors have 2-year warranty and we replace them free in case of defect.
